Decorating for the Holidays

While Christmas music played, Dirigo Pines residents gathered to decorate 10 tree located throughout the Dirigo Inn.  When it comes to decorating for the holidays, the excitement doesn't stop as you get older.  And WABI-TV was there to catch the festive spirit. http://wabi.tv/2014/12/03/many-celebrate-holiday-together-orono/
“It’s always fun. I feel like a child again because I love to decorate for Christmas. It’s been fun. There was a large group of us and I think we all enjoyed it,” says resident Blanchie Page.

“It’s a beautiful community. Our seniors are very involved with what goes on here. For me personally, it is just, I had tears in my eyes as we were decorating the tree because it is their home. It’s my job to make sure that they have all the wonderful experiences that I can offer them,” says Executive Director of Dirigo Pines, JoAnn Gallant.

This was just the start of their planned festivities.
